50 Years of Nonlinear Control and Optimization
September 30 - October 01, 2010
The Royal Society - London - UK
Goal of the meeting is to "reflect" on the state of nonlinear control theory, its applications,
and its connections with and use of optimization methods.
The timing, location, and topic of the meeting have been inspired by the 80th birthday of Prof. D.Q. Mayne,
who has largely contributed, for over 50 years to the foundation of nonlinear control,
of optimization and to establish links between these disciplines.
The meeting will be organized around tutorial presentations on optimization, nonlinear control,
constrained control, optimal control.
Contributed papers should be submitted electronically through:
Papers should be of tutorial/historical value on topics related to the workshop objective.
The submission deadline is July, 15, 2010.
Please note that proceedings will not be published.
